Gameplay
This is Section 1216: A Space Oddity. The game is set in the future where cars have been long forgotten and everyone travels by flying saucers. The objective of the game is to fly your saucer as good an as fast as possible over a trajectory. Along this trajectory there are a number of different planets where you should pick up and save friendly creatures. Be aware however not to pick up evil creatures that inhabit some planets as they will melt the friendly ones you’ve saved.
Here is how the game works. A maximum of four players are on the RFID floor which is their flying saucer. The saucer is controlled by the movements of the people on the floor. By placing their ‘weight’ on one side on the floor the saucer will tilt imaginary and fly in that direction. These effects will be simulated with sound effects by the 8 speaker audio setup round the field.
The objective of this first phase of the game is to fly through a trajectory of energy portals or checkpoints as fast as possible. The sound of the portal is hearable at a distance coming from one direction. The players then need to fly their saucers in that direction. If they pass through the energy portal they will hear this by means of Doppler sound effects, and then a new portal will pop-up in the distance.

Later on in the game, when the players have become experienced in flying their saucer the checkpoints become little planets where they have to pick up friendly alien creatures. Save as much of these creatures as possible while avoiding to get the evil creatures into your spaceship
When you’ve caught the friendly creatures you have to fly on to the next planet or fly back to your base station if your spaceship is full, the ship can contain up to ten creatures. When flying with a ship full of creatures the ship will be harder to control because of the movements of the creatures in your ship.
